"Wooden Nickels"

'Wooden Nickels'

Album, 'Under the Willow Tree'

Don't take any wooden nickels Mother said to me,

Don't take any wooden nickels under the Willow Tree...

Save up all your pennies, put them in a Mason jar, but hide all of the Gold in the Treasure Chest and bury it in the yard.

I've got the picnic basket with all the food and fruit, get out of those clothes and put on your hat and wear your swimming suit.

(Chorus)

Don't take any wooden nickels Mother said to me....

Don't take any wooden nickels under the Willow Tree.

Come on down to the pond, wanna go fishing with me,

Put your hopes on a string and tie on the hook and drop it into the sea.

(Chorus)

I made a carafe' of tea and packed a cooler of ice, sliced lemons and mint with sweetness and tea will make our picnic so nice.

I found a shiny Gold coin up under that Willow Tree, that's where we have our picnics like a Treasure Chest from the sea..

(Chorus)

Don't take any wooden nickels Mother said to me,

Don't take any wooden nickels under the Willow Tree.

Summertime Lyrics

"Nuttier Than A FruitCake"

"Christmas 🎄 Lyrics"

Nuttier than a fruitcake, nuts falling from the trees,

First it was Pecans, then Hazelnuts, then from a Walnut Tree.

Skipping through the forest, searching for nuts and the perfect Christmas tree,

The leaves were trembling and the trees would shake, there were nuts dropping down on me.

Searching through the Pines and the Blue Spruces too,

Something was scurrying all around, there were nuts filling up my shoes.

Finding the perfect Spruce, to place into my pail,

I grabbed a branch to pull it up but it was

a Squirrel's tail!

I wanted that Spruce, that Squirrel, he wanted my shoes,

then the fight was on for my shoes or the pail and I wasn't going to lose!

(Chorus)

Nuttier than a fruitcake, nuts falling from the trees,

First it was Pecans, then Hazelnuts, then from a Walnut Tree.

I chased that Squirrel, he chased me back,

but I grabbed my shoes and ran with the pail before he dared to attack!

Sitting by my fireplace, eating fruitcake and gazing at that tree, were two twinkling eyes and a flickering tail glaring back at me...

(Chorus)

Nuttier than a fruitcake, nuts falling from the trees,

First it was Pecans, then Hazelnuts, then from a Walnut Tree.

Jazz Lyrics

"Sammy & The Cat"

"Jazzy Halloween 👻 Lyrics"

Sammy and the Cat were chasing that tune,

Sammy and the Cat romping all over that room...

Rapping at the door was the Sleep-walking Pianist too, asking, "What is going on with all of you"?

(Chorus)

It's--Just--That--Ca-at---and Sam-my, chasing a tune,

Give us a moment until we're through.

They're flipping over Witches Haunt's ghosts

like a full blue Moon.

Sammy was sliding, playing doggy-tag, when the spinning was over, the cat was out of the bag!

The Sleep-walking Pianist had been counting sheep,

I closed the door and told him to wake up, and go back to sleep...

The lunatic Drummer was as mad as a Hatter, clanging and banging because of the chatter...

The Old Man had his cane, shuffling his feet,

while the mad-hatter Drummer was banging

on the floor underneath...

With the ghostly hauntings in the eerie studio, they couldn't get any sleep because of the Mad-Hatter below.

The Underworld studio became such a fright, things began to move and creep in the night.

The Drums began to shake, violins quaked, and the symbols were seemingly on vibrate,

they felt the grand piano tremble, then electrically levitate....

(Chorus)

It's--Just--That--Ca-at---and Sam-my.... chasing a tune,

Give them a moment until they're through.

They're flipping over Witches Haunt's ghosts

like a full, blue Moon...

It's--Just---That---Cat, with a Whammy!

"Peaches Creme de la Creme"

Blues & Jazz Lyrics, Mademoiselle & Co.

🍑 "Peaches Creme de la Creme"

Album, 'Mason Jars'

Picking peaches from the trees, of somber

moods in the warm, summer breeze.

Mother in the kitchen, whistling her tunes

like a beautiful Owl flying across the Moon.

Mason jars on the table await, the sweet, simmering peaches as they percolate.

Mother's peaches, always ripe, preparing

those peaches until midnight.

The creme de la creme of the sweetest cream, drizzling over those peaches like a buttery dream...

(Chorus)

Peaches Creme de la Creme, buttery dreaming of home of so long ago...

I've been saving that Mason jar of peaches all week long.

Mademoiselle Mysteries, Poems & Lyrics

"Books of the Ghostly Mist"

Each day upon entering the store, mysterious scuffs on the floor of an unwelcomed guest of the ghostly mess that had made themselves an invisable host.

Eagerly each and every nigh, I waited to see whom passed by,

A knock on the table, or a chip in the glass, who was this vandal that has hauntingly passed....

The books for the shelves never placed,

O'er years of yearning to appear,

Where are they hidden, those secret words,

of riddled books of other Worlds?

Ahh... but one wintery eve, entering without a gist, Behold!

There were the images of the ghostly Guest peering through the windows of the shadowy mist...

"Coats of Armour"

Nearly twenty years have come and gone, since

I left the path that we were riding on...

Super slueths of riddled funds, Swiss bank accounts that they were stealing from.

Highways, byways and International cotes,

Shields of Armour that they were hiding beyond.

Cotes of Arms, Manx of their lands,

Secret escapes to elude their demands.
